Following a national search, Dr. Mary Barnes-Tilley has been appointed vice president for instruction at Black Hawk College. She joined the college in July 2025 as interim vice president for instruction. “Dr. Barnes-Tilley has demonstrated strong leadership, a collaborative approach with faculty and staff, and a deep commitment to student success,” said Dr. Jeremy Thomas, Black Hawk College president. “I am confident that her experience, leadership style and commitment to the mission of the community
