Description

MEETING RESCHEDULED: More details coming soon.

Virtual Event | Peer Roundtable: Bar and Restaurant Owners
Thursday, June 11 | 9:00 - 10:00 AM

Take a breath and join us for a facilitated discussion about how you've been navigating business during COVID-19.  Share how you've tackled the issues that coronavirus imposed on your business and the pivots that have kept you surviving, if not thriving.  We'll also talk about what happens after the COVID-19 shutdown.

  • How will bar and foodservice businesses need to adapt and change to meet different market conditions and customer behaviors?
  • How will marketing efforts need to change to re-attract and retain customers?
  • How will staffing change?

Register by noon on Wednesday, June 10. Space is limited to to 35 owners or managers of locally owned, independent restaurants and bars. We will maintain a waiting list for registrations above that amount.

You will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link and information on joining the meeting on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 10.

The Quad Cities Chamber is waiving the fee for this event.

Meet our facilitator:

Tom Trone, SCORE Quad Cities Certified Mentor and University of Iowa Venture School faculty member, will facilitate this first in a series of roundtable discussions focused on the near-term needs of local restaurant and bar owners.  SCORE QCA mentors help many local foodservice businesses today including counseling owners as they navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 shutdown.  Trone has extensive experience in many industry sectors including foodservice.  He and his wife Sue, who is also a SCORE mentor, have owned and operated several restaurants.
