The City of Bettendorf, in collaboration with Olympic Steel and the American Heart Association, will host a ribbon cutting to unveil artwork on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 5:00 PM. The ribbon cutting will be at Jetty Park on the Mississippi Riverfront near the Isle Casino Hotel.
Olympic Steel, the American Heart Association and the City of Bettendorf will unveil artwork celebrating 100 years of building stronger, healthier communities designed by heart attack survivor, Dan Parmentier of Olympic Steel, and brought to life by Davenport’s West High School Industrial Technology students. Speakers representing the City of Bettendorf, Olympic Steel and the American Heart Association will lead us in reflecting on the First Century of saving and improving lives lighting the way to a Second Century of equitable health for all.
