She spends her work days traveling the state to spread a positive perception of the manufacturing industry by connecting K-12 students and educators to Iowa community colleges and manufacturers to help fill the skills gap in the state. \n\n\n\nAlex's interest in manufacturing began prior to Elevate. Alex worked for Northeast Iowa Community College where she focused on building relationships with manufacturing companies in rural areas. \n\n\n\nAlex grew her roots in Manchester\, Iowa.
